Swim lessons are giving Ella her first prolonged exposure to boys her age. First observation "Jack can't talk". Me: "I think he can talk, he just doesn't do it very much". Ella: (pause) "But talking is really fun! It's how you get to use words!"

Plz send this to my dad. Dalton and Tal have severally expressed the desire to find a wife who doesn't talk much. You might even argue that the swimming pool is a place where less talking happens - it can be difficult to vocalize underwater. Perhaps that's why they chose swimming as a sport.
