Swim lessons

Swim lessons are giving Ella her first prolonged exposure to boys her age. First observation "Jack can't talk". Me: "I think he can talk, he just doesn't do it very much". Ella: (pause) "But talking is really fun! It's how you get to use words!"

Fathers Day

Uncle Don invited us to a BBQ for Fathers Day. Ella loved playing with Brandon, Meagan and Rachel, her second cousins.

Ella collected a pile of treasures and named them "tomato seeds".


Then she told me a story about how they were a family.
