Tubes

After a lot of ear infections and antibiotics, we decided to have tubes put into Ella's ears. We also had her "brachial cleft cyst" (Aka "little jobbers") removed from the right side of her neck.

She was a pretty good patient.

Her surgery was scheduled for 7 am, so she had to get up early and was a little tired.

Bunny kept her company in pre-op, but was not allowed into the sterile OR.

She woke up groggy and grumpy, but otherwise in good shape. After a long nap at home, she's back to herself. The hospital staff were all great and we were glad she was there for something so minor.

Doh!

I couldn't believe it when I heard a little voice this morning chirping "Cwaire, hold still, I have to cut your bangs!" Then I saw this on the floor. If you look closely tou can see some of Claire's fairy fluff hair mixed in with Ella's.

Ella first gave herself a trim then moved on to update Claire's look. Now they both have kicky summer do's. By "kicky" I mean really choppy and uneven. I spent a lot of time trying to blend Ella's chunky tufts of hair with her remaining hair. Hopefully noone looks too close, especially at the bangs.

Still a cutie despite the mischief.

March Madness Ends

After a month of stress, the madness ends and I no longer come home in the middle of the day to find Andrew in this state of concentration. Rody, as always offers her support.

In fairness to Andrew, he was only like this during the BYU games, which were sadly few. "Rody, only you understand me."

Big kids

Claire is so big (chronologically at least) now that she can ride up front in the cart.

Ella is a good shopping cart mentor to her Padawan. Naturally, bunny comes to Costco too.

Easter Egg Hunt

We managed to squeeze in an Easter egg hunt between three sessions of conference on Saturday. Claire really liked the chocolates.

Ella helped Claire find some treats after her own basket was full.

Claire especially liked the shape and taste of the plastc eggs.

Opposites Attract

Ella could not get enough of her cousin Dalton. Known as "the Gentle Giant" he has a very different temperment from his fiesty little cousin, but they seemed to get along. There was a lot of laughing when they were together.
